Join Qatar Insurance Company (QIC) as a System & Business Analyst to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for our innovative digital products. Collaborate with developers to ensure solutions meet stakeholder needs, develop interface specifications, and manage API integrations. Ideal for candidates with 3+ years of experience, strong analytical skills, and a background in business process modeling. Experience in FinTech or insurance sectors is a plus.

About the position

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders

Break down tasks from the product owner into actionable items for implementation

Develop requirements for both frontend and backend parts of the product, including interface specifications, system rules, and API integrations

Work closely with developers throughout the development process to ensure solutions meet requirements and solve user problems

Conduct feature demonstrations for stakeholders and incorporate feedback to improve the product

Provide support during testing and implementation phases to ensure systems function as expected

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Business/System Analyst
Experience in FinTech or Insurance sectors is a plus
Strong experience in business process modeling, workflow analysis, and system architecture
Proficiency in designing and documenting APIs, with a solid understanding of web development practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for managing complex requirements
Proficiency in business analysis tools like UML, BPMN, and use case modeling
Experience in maintaining technical documentation for both frontend and backend systems
Strong communication skills for effectively interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong proficiency in English, including technical and business communication
Experience with database management, data modeling, and SQL is a plus

Full-time remote, work schedule: 5 days per week, Sunday to Thursday, GMT +3 timezone

Performance reviews are conducted twice a year, with the possibility of a raise in March and September
