As a ​​​​​​​Senior Golang developer, you will join our core backend team to develop new microservices architecture from scratch. It's an insurance kernel that powers qic.online and qd app. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of microservices architecture and experience in e-com / fintech.

About the position

Responsibilities

  • Development of Core Insurance Engine
  • Develop and support Backend business logic
  • Support API for mobile application
  • Improve Web product
  • Integrate 3rd party systems
  • Collaborate with product and mobile team

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Golang
  • Be familiar with PostgreSQL and Swagger
  • Strong understanding and experience in designing system architecture
  • Experience in ecom/fintech

Conditions

What we offer

  • Long-term contract with QIC with a 3-month probation period.
  • Full-time work schedule: 5 days per week, Sunday to Thursday, GMT +3 timezone.
  • Annual Leave: 30 Working days per annum and availment of annual vacation and sick leave shall be in accordance with our policy.
  • Your salary will be periodically reviewed as a part of the company’s regular Performance review process.
  • Future relocation to Qatar: We provide full support with obtaining your Qatar ID (QID), relocation assistance, and flexibility for hybrid work from our Doha headquarters to ensure a smooth transition.
