You’ll design and maintain scalable data pipelines using GCP and Apache Airflow, manage large datasets, and ensure data security and compliance. About the position

Responsibilities

Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines using Apache Airflow and GCP services like BigQuery.
Work with relational databases like MySQL and Oracle.
Implementing and orchestrating data workflows using Apache Airflow.
Collaboration with analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data quality and availability.
Optimizing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Ensuring data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Monitoring and troubleshooting data systems to maintain high availability and reliability.

Requirements

4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
Experience using cloud solutions (Google Cloud Platform preferred)
Proficiency in MySQL and Oracle databases.
Expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
Hands-on experience in orchestrating data workflows ( Apache Airflow preferred).
Advanced skills in Python for scripting and automation.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT practices.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and data infrastructure automation.
Experience with data modeling and working with large-scale datasets.
Knowledge of Docker and containerization.

Long-term service agreement contract with QIC with 3 months probation period

Full-time remote, work schedule: 5 days per week, Sunday to Thursday, GMT +3 timezone

Performance reviews are conducted twice a year, with the possibility of a raise in March and September
