As a Quality Assurance Engineer you will join one of the freshly established product team - City at the very beginning of our journey in QIC app as we’re building a new platform from scratch.

About the position

Responsibilities

Work closely with developers, designers, analysts, and managers in a Scrum team.
Test current products and identify deficiencies.
Plan and coordinate testing activities, thoroughly identifying and documenting bugs.
Suggest solutions to identify product problems.
Investigate product quality to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction.
Plan, create, and manage testing documentation - checklists, test cases, etc.
Collaborate with the Test Automation team to ensure sufficient test coverage
Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution.
In-depth understanding of the full product development life cycle.
Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer
Experience with testing Android and iOS mobile applications, and APIs
Rich experience in functional testing
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
Experience with a variety of different testing techniques
Experience with software QA tools and processes
Working knowledge of the general client-server architecture
Deep understanding of QA processes, tools, and techniques
Critical thinker, with problem-solving skills
Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
English lvl B1+ - read project documentation, write test documentation, understand spoken English

Conditions

What we offer

Long-term contract with QIC with a 3-month probation period
Full-time work schedule: 5 days per week, Sunday to Thursday, GMT +3 timezone
Annual Leave: 30 Working days per annum and availment of annual vacation and sick leave shall be in accordance with our policy
Your salary will be periodically reviewed as a part of the company’s regular Performance review process.
Future relocation to Qatar: We provide full support with obtaining your Qatar ID (QID), relocation assistance, and flexibility for hybrid work from our Doha headquarters to ensure a smooth transition
