About the position
We are looking for a Copywriter who would be engaged in creating content for our in-house media dedicated to live in Qatar. This role require excellent spoken and written English, proven experience in researching for and writing long-form content, and would greatly benefit from Arabic knowledge as well.
Responsibilities
- Research, write, and edit high-quality content that addresses the business goals and target audience's needs
- Generate relevant topics within the content grid, both collaboratively with an SEO specialist and independently
- Produce content that adheres to SEO best practices, optimising titles, meta descriptions, and keyword usage for organic search performance
- Ensure all content is aligned with the guidelines, voice, and tone
- Collaborate with internal specialists (Editor, Partnership Manager, Corrector, SEO Specialist) and product teams to develop content that aligns with the business objectives
- Stay informed on industry trends, innovations, and news in insurtech, finance and everything related to Doha and its citizens
- Collaborate with designers and producers to develop visually engaging content such as infographics, articles' covers, video posts, etc.
Requirements
- Experience in content writing, ideally with a focus on tech or finance
- The key skills are the ability to work with long-form content, as well as consolidate information, pack it consistently, and manage reader attention
- Strong research skills and the ability to create original, well-researched content
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with different types of content and it dependence on the channel or the funnel stage
- Proficient English writing and communication skills
- Fluent Arabic will be a significant advantage
