About the position
We’re looking for a Claims Support Specialist to join our Call Centre Department at QIC. This role involves assisting customers with claim inquiries, verifying documents, and ensuring accurate and timely claim handling in line with company policies and service standards.
Responsibilities
- Review and verify claim submissions and required documents
- Ensure authenticity of submitted information to prevent fraud
- Handle customer inquiries through calls, chats, emails, and WhatsApp
- Provide timely updates on claim status and resolve issues professionally
- Coordinate with internal teams (legal, underwriting) and external partners
- Collect and analyze claim data to prepare progress and performance reports
- Maintain and update claim records in the system
- Follow internal procedures and comply with regulatory requirements
- Identify and suggest improvements in claims handling efficiency
- Manage cases involving complex or disputed conditions
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in customer support, call center operations, or claims handling
- Prior exposure to the insurance industry is an advantage
- Proficiency in Arabic and fluency in English (both used daily)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with CRM systems (such as Creatio, Zoho, Salesforce, etc.)
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work in a digital environment
- Attention to detail and diligence
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities
